We do work for almost all Insurance companies so please call 954-968-4800 or email firstname.lastname@example.org and ask if we can help with yours.
USAA's members and claimants have been part of our success for over three decades. Their professionalism and attention to detail shows they really care about the quality of the repair of their vehicles.
Knowing that the owner of the business is on property every day overseeing how the customers are treated and the repair is performed is what sets us apart from the "Big Box" shops. Multiple Shop Operators (MSO's) simply cannot be as involved as a local family owned shop to insure quality and timeliness.

Simply take a picture of your VIN number (a 17 digit number found on the inside of the drivers door jamb), a picture of the mileage, all 4 corners and a few pictures of the damage and email those along with your name and contact info and we will write up an estimate for you. Send the pics and info to email@example.com
Palm has a professional, dedicated and talented staff to help you through this experience. We do this every day, we're very familiar with it.
When your vehicle is repaired at Palm Collision Center you have the reassurance of a full Limited Lifetime Guarantee on your repairs.
Most of our repairs are Insurance claim related. With our experience and relationships with all of the major insurance companies, you can let us do the work for you and be your advocate.
To whom do I report my accident?
Your insurance company or agent will collect the information regarding the claim and set up a claim file for you. He or she will provide you with a claim number to reference your file by and inform you how much your deductible is. Once your claim file is set up, Palm Collision Center will work directly with your insurance agent ensuring your claim is handled efficiently and that the process is seamless.
Do I need to obtain more than one estimate?
If insured, you are only responsible for your deductible. The most important thing is for you to get your vehicle repaired. All quality collision repair shops have pre-determined prices with the insurance companies.
Will Palm Collision Center contact my insurance company regarding my claim?
Palm Collision Center will handle processing the claim and communicating with the claims office for you. Since we are electronically linked to your insurance company's computer system we are able to send the estimate directly to their claims office. Your insurance company will review our estimate and a written approval will be E-mailed to us usually within 48 hours. This will allow us to begin repairs on your vehicle, with your consent, as soon as we receive approval.
What if additional damage is found on my vehicle after repairs have begun?
Palm Collision Center works directly with your insurance company to process your claim. A claims office re-inspector provides hands on claims management by visiting our facilities once a week to resolve any questions or decisions that we need their input on. If additional damage is found on your vehicle, Palm Collision Center will bill these costs directly to your insurance company ensuring that you are never put in a situation where you owe more than your deductible.
Will I need a check from my insurance company when I pick up my vehicle?
Payment for the amount of your deductible (cash, Master Card, Visa, Money order or Cashiers' Check) will be all that is needed to pick up your repaired vehicle as well as the check from the Insurance company. A Direction to Pay will be signed allowing Palm Collision Center to bill your insurance company ,that we partner with directly with, for the portion of the repair bill that they are responsible for. Payment will then be sent directly to us. This situation is similar to your health insurance, where you pay your co-pay or deductible and the doctor bills the insurance company directly for the remainder of the invoice.
Palm Collision Center does not accept personal or business checks for payment of repairs.
Credit Cards will only be accepted for the amount of your deductible or repairs of up to $1000.00
I have been hit by another party; and their insurance company has accepted responsibility for the damage to my vehicle do I need to have a check before I can schedule repairs?
After you set up the claim with your insurance company, all you need to do is provide Palm Collision Center with your claim number. We will obtain approval to repair your vehicle and the check for the repairs will be sent directly to Palm Collision Center when repairs are completed. All you will have to do is sign a Direction to Pay form authorizing payment for the completed repairs.
Will I receive a warranty?
Palm Collision Center gives a Lifetime Warranty on your repairs. We stand behind this warranty so please contact us directly with any warranty issues and we will resolve them. We are focus on earning your trust as a quality business to whom you want to refer your friends and family. This motivates us to do everything possible to ensure your expectations are exceeded.
In the Estimate Process area the vehicle is inspected and relevant data is entered into estimate computer systems. This data is compiled into an estimate that determines the cost of repairs. However, often there is hidden damage that can not be seen until after the vehicle is disassembled.
Once the estimate is completed, the insurance company will review the estimate. there may be some negotiations on the price and procedures required to repair the vehicle. The insurance company will determine if the vehicle is even repairable. Once this process is completed, the vehicle begins the actual repair process.
In Disassembly hidden damage is often found, and inner structure repairs are determined. Many times this will require scheduling insurance re-inspection and ordering additional parts.
The required parts for your vehicle are ordered, and availability is checked. If a part needs to be special ordered, the order will be placed as soon as possible. Although many parts may arrive very quickly, the repair process can not begin until the shop receives all of the structural parts.
In the Structure Repair area, the unitized body is returned back to the factory specification. A sophisticated measuring system is used to monitor all phases in this area. A computer based measurement system is used to analyze the frame of your vehicle. This system assures an accurate repair.
The Body Repair Department replaces exterior panels, and all metal finished that may be required. The vehicle begins to come back to life as sheet metal is installed and aligned. From here the vehicle will go to the paint preparations department.
Paint Preparation is a critical step in the refinishing process of every vehicle. All panels are prepared for paint, then primed and sealed to assure good adhesion when the final top color and clear coats of paint are applied.
Final moldings and details pieces are put back on the vehicle in the reassembly area. All the vehicle's systems are checked during this process. The vehicle is almost complete and ready for delivery when it is in this stage.
During the repair process the vehicle accumulates dust from the repairs. It will be cleaned. It will also be road tested to ensure that everything is working properly. A final inspection will assure that the vehicle is restored to it's pre-accident condition.
Delivery is the last step in the repair process. When the customer arrives to pick up the vehicle, the bill is explained and the final paper work is completed. The customer drives away in the vehicle that has been restored to it's pre accident condition.
Palm Collision Center has operated as a Body Shop in Broward Florida continuously since October 1983. Palm Pontiac began operation in October of 1983 as a franchised new car dealership. The dealership was owned and operated by the Kelley Family and was first located on Federal Highway in Ft. Lauderdale.
We changed the name from Palm Pontiac Body Shop to Palm Collision Center in July 2001 after a restructuring of our business. In 2005, as the collision portion of the business became more prevalent, Kevin invited Shane O’Connor, a former member of his Palm Pontiac service team, to join as a managing partner.
Since then, with their philosophy of always doing the right thing the right way, the business has thrived in the way of continuously happy and repeat customer, a growing number of Insurance Company relationships which perpetuates business and an integrity driven staff that knows quality workmanship.
